You commented on the Getwatchers page that you wanted feedback so I'm assuming that means advice and what not, so here's my two cents such as they are. I don't draw Anime and I'm only a student myself so please listen and disregard as you see fit; let me begin by saying your head, hair and earmuffs are well done. Now for the parts I feel are off. It might just be your personal style, but the shoulders aren't broad enough in proportion to the head. Next we have his right forearm, it's curving in toward his torso when it should be curving outward.  Your clothing wrinkles are also slightly off, (not the jacket, the jacket's fine), for the shirt you have one wrinkle that looks like its curving down toward the bottom left of the picture when all the other wrinkles are curving up toward the top right. Concerning the pants, the wrinkles are almost there but on the back leg you have a set of wrinkles ( near the crotch area) curving upward and this only happens when the leg in question is at a severe upward tilt, else wise the wrinkles curve downward. A quick tip for drawing wrinkles is that oftentimes they originate from the seems of clothing, not always but often enough.
I apologize if a critique wasn't what you wanted or I came across as overly harsh or my opinions are simply outdated, either way feel free to belabor me with all manner of insults ( provided they're creative ones).
As for the question about fan-arts, I say go for it. Its an opportunity to both improve and steal some of that interest for yourself.
